About Megan Root
I help people and organizations rebuild systems from the inside out, without losing themselves in the process.
I’m here to make systems less harmful.
I’m Megan Root, MSW, trauma-informed strategist, facilitator, and educator with over 20 years in
social work, nonprofit leadership, health systems, and advocacy. I’ve helped people navigate
crises, burnout, broken teams, and structural overwhelm.
I founded The Lodestar Project and Revival Lab to support those who
are ready to rethink how we lead, connect, and care, without bypassing what hurts or pretending
that change is easy. My work blends systems strategy, somatic clarity, and grounded facilitation
to help teams and individuals move forward with integrity.
Whether I’m leading a session, coaching a leader, or building a roadmap with a fractured organization,
I focus on what’s real, what’s possible, and what holds. I believe systems can evolve—and people can
too, if we design for honesty, safety, and sustainability.
If you’re ready for something more thoughtful, more embodied, and more true—I’d be honored to work with you.
